Discover a Sanctuary of Untold Treasures
Welcome to The Sage’s Library, a space where education, creativity, and lifelong learning come together. Created by Ontario Certified Teacher Tia Greco, this portfolio reflects a teaching practice rooted in curiosity, connection, inclusion, and meaningful learning.
Here, you’ll discover classroom resources, professional reflections, teaching experiences, and approaches to literacy, critical thinking, student voice, and holistic education.
Like any good library, this space continues to grow. Each page represents another chapter in an evolving journey of teaching, learning, and inspiring others to discover what is possible.

Where Ideas Take Root
“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education.”
— Martin Luther King Jr.
The Educator Behind the Library
Hello! I’m Tia Greco, an Ontario Certified Teacher with a passion for creating inclusive, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. My teaching practice centres on literacy, critical thinking, student voice, and building strong relationships within the classroom. I believe students learn best when they feel seen, supported, challenged, and connected to what they are learning.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Education from York University, along with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English and Italian Studies and additional studies in Spanish. My academic background in language, literature, culture, and education continues to shape my interdisciplinary approach to teaching.
As a lifelong learner, I continue to expand my professional practice through Additional Qualification courses, professional development, educational research, and ongoing learning in areas such as literacy, inclusive education, assessment, and holistic teaching.
Experience
My teaching experience spans elementary and secondary classrooms, supporting children with exceptionalities, and eLearning environments. I am committed to creating inclusive, engaging, and student-centred learning experiences that foster confidence, curiosity, and academic growth.
Beyond classroom instruction, my experience includes tutoring, mentorship, extracurricular involvement, curriculum and resource development, and continued professional learning. Each experience has strengthened my ability to adapt instruction, communicate effectively with students and families, and create meaningful learning experiences that support the whole student.
